a use for the naked palette eyeshadow brush

When you buy the Naked palette by Urban Decay they give you that pointless little brush that you can't really apply the eye shadows with, as it's just not a good enough brush (not 'fluffy' enough for eye shadow). However today i found a brilliant use for it!
Recently i've been getting annoyed with having to apply my Maybelline "color tattoo" with my fingers and then accidentally smudging it on my face afterwards. I didn't want to use any of my Real Techniques brushes as i like to use those for eye shadows not creme shadows, so i decided today to use the old Urban Decay brush that i have only ever used once or twice.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze' // Urban Decay eye shadow brush that came in the Naked Palette

Basically i love it! The bristles of the brush are so compact and straight that it is perfect for creme eye shadows. It really pushes the product well on the eye lids and overall has fully completed my every day makeup routine hurray!
Now i finally have a use for this brush.

  1. Lovely post, and actually a really nice idea. I never thought about it, but I have like a whole drawer of brushes that have come with things. :)
