my every day makeup

So I thought it was about time I make a post about my every day makeup routine and the various products I use.

Foundation
So firstly after I have applied a moisturizer I like to apply my foundation, I use the revlon colorstay foundation in the shade 'ivory' for oily to combination skin, which I feel is the best drugstore foundation around, it doesn't ever look 'cakey' and I would say it's definitely full coverage so you don't need much in the way of concealer afterwards (only on blemishes and the under eye area).
I use my Real Techniques buffing brush to really work the foundation into the skin so that it looks more natural.

Concealer
For under eye concealer I like to use erase paste by benefit, as it has a slight peach shade in it to cancel out the dark purple tones under the eye. I like to use my Real Techniques deluxe crease brush to apply this as the thickness of the brush is the perfect shape and size for under eye concealer.

...More concealer
I also like to apply the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer on any blemishes or discolouration I may have and around my nose and chin area. I think this is one of the best concealers I've ever used, it's really full coverage and covers anything, even freckles!
I apply this with my Real Techniques foundation brush as it really blends out the concealer well.

Face powder
After applying foundation and concealer, as the foundation isn't a 'dewy' looking foundation it doesn't  need powder on top, but the areas where I've put concealer do. So I apply this e.l.f mineral powder with my Real Techniques blush brush, as it fits perfectly under the eye to set the concealer and it's soft bristle apply the powder evenly on the face.

Eye shadow
For my eyeshadow I use the ever famous Urban Decay Naked palette, which I think is as great palette for neutral or smokey eye looks. As a base I use my Maybeline Color tattoo in 'On and On Bronze', and then I apply the shade 'Buck' with my Real Techniques base shadow brush on the inner half of the lid, and 'Smog' on the outer half of the lid with the same brush. I then blend the eyeshadow out with my e.l.f blending brush, and take my e.l.f crease brush and reapply 'Smog' to the crease and my lower lash line. Finally I apply 'Virgin' with my Real Techniques accent brush to my inner corner and my brow bone.

Liquid eyeliner & mascara
Pretty self explanator, I apply liquid eyeliner, then curl my lashes and apply my Rimmel mascara to top and bottom lashes.

Eyebrows
I fill in my brows with my Rimmel eyebrow pencil, by using small brush strokes to make it look more natural. I then slightly darken my eyebrows by applying a matte brown eyeshadow, I use my benefit palette, with my Real Techniques angled brush.

 Cheeks
This step kind of changes every day depending on how much effort I want to make and which blush colour I want to use. Sometime I use the highlight colour from the Sleek contour kit on the tops of my cheek bones and then either apply my e.l.f blush with my Real Techniques blush brush, or I apply my Revlon cream blush with my fingers.

Lips
Finally I apply either a lipstick or a liptint. But sometimes I like to layer over two different lipsicks like I did today, for example I sometimes use my Maxfactor lipstick and then layer over my no7 lipstick to get a mixture of different tones and shades.

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed this massively long post!
