When it comes to travelling normally I cram in everything I can and usually take about 10 times more makeup than I should. I’m travelling back home to Brighton for a few days, so I thought i’d test myself and pack as little makeup as I can. In a way it’s in preparation for when I go on a weekend trip to Amsterdam in July, when I really have to pack lightly.
Firstly for foundation I like to pack a light coverage foundation like my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua as it’s great for everyday when I want less coverage, and I pack a more medium-full coverage foundation like NARS Sheer Glow for evenings or days when I want a bit more coverage I might mix the two foundations together. For the cheeks I like to pack a two different shades, one lighter and one a bit brighter, for this I packed my most recently purchased Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, which i've been obsessed with, and a brighter Chanel one for a bit of difference. I then like to pack my usual eye base and liners that i'm currently liking, along with my trusty LORAC Pro Palette that's flat and compact and great for travel.
Really want to try that blush, it looks stunning :)
